A strengths-based organization is characterized by all-around excellence. It is an organization where strengths support every aspect of operations, strategy, and day-to-day performance. Strengths are woven throughout the organization’s systems and processes and reflected in its vision, mission, and values. In a strengths-based organization, employees can do what they do best every day. As a result, these employees look forward to going to work, achieve more while they are there, and stay with their company longer. According to Gallup’s research, employees who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged on the job, while teams that focus on their strengths are 12.5% more productive.
